Eye-popping Alexander McQueen - Resort Collection 2010

British soap star Zoë Lister’s eye-popping Alexander McQueen dress, from the designer’s Op Art-inspired Resort collection. Is she wearing the dress or is the dress wearing her? Either way we've got to give her credit for toning it down with simple accessories/shoes. I'm loving McQueen's bold spring pattern trend a total "center stage taker" !!!

John Galliano - Backstage Spring 2010

He created a dreamy parallel world for one of his best collections in a long time: a show evoking the era when the heroines of silent movies were facing their career demise. "It came from a research trip to L.A.," Galliano said. "I went around the old houses of Hollywood and imagined how stars like Tallulah Bankhead, Lillian Gish, and Mary Pickford lived." (From Style.com).
It's the perfect justification for playing to his strengths in poetical glamorous.
Galliano's color sense—the ice blues, silver lamés, powder pinks, and lemons—amazing; it was his fashion version of Sunset Boulevard. (scroll down for more photos, including beauty)

My Golden Globe 2010 Favourites

Sophia Loren - In Armani Prive'....this is the perfect example of "either you have or you don't" and 'Sophia Loren' should be the vocabulary definition of "I have it". Just stunning and classy! (scroll down for more "favourites")

My Golden Globe 2010 Favourites

Olivia Wilde - In Gucci, all I can say is "hot hot hot". I'm loving the decollete, so settled yet so sexy.

My Golden Globe 2010 Favourites

Kate Hudson - In Marchesa and Casadei Shoes, I'm loving the "freshness" yet the very sharp edges of this gown. The white can't get more "Crystal clear" then that. It's great.

My Golden Globe 2010 Favourites

Emily Blunt - In Dolce&Gabbana, amazing style, so sexy yet so soft, she absolutely nailed it.

My Golden Globe 2010 Favourites

Cristina Aguilera - In Versace, it blends in with her skin tone to perfection, the curves are just right and that bob it's the last kick to make Cristina sream "I'm hot" to the world!!

My Golden Globe 2010 Favourites

Penelope Cruz - In Armani Prive', this dress just emphasises even more her Spanish charm.

The BIG Wave - Spring/Summer 2010

Surf's up!!! In hi-tech fabrics, neon surfer shades or slick scuba-black?
Alexander Wang, Gucci and Josh Goot have reinvented the Lycra mini dress with clever and hot cut-outs!! A scuba-diving holiday in Sharm el-Sheikh inspired Julien McDonald's stretchy leggings and athletic cool vests. As you can imagine every surf girl, and not necessarily a surf girl ONLY, needs a fierce swim suite...well Pucci (Peter Dundas)has taken care of that with some bandeau shapes and matching cropped jackets!!!

Sweet, Wicked Candy - Trend Spring/Summer 2010

Baby blue, pastel pink, pale yellow, spearmint and lilac...the perfect colors for a new born, so gentle. This mood gets even softer with the delicate chiffons, tulle and wispy feathers. BUT when combined with thigh-high cuts and provocative splits you get a serious "sugar-rush". It this a bit of Lolita mixed and matched with Hilary Clinton (oopss)?? (photo from British Vogue)

Agent Provocateur - Whip

I just received a very interesting xmas gift from my neighbour who is also a good friend. I never thought of giving a fancy whip as a gift but I must say it's a very thoughtful idea. I will use this as a decoration piece. (scroll down for more photos)

ESSIE - "Pinker then Pink"

It can't get more pink then this, unfortunately the photo does not justice to the color but I think you all get and idea. Though the all florescent "hype" is past, I'm still loving the brightness of it. Some how it puts me in a good mood, yet again it doesn't take much for me to be in a good mood!!

Shorts, more shorts for Spring/Summer 2010

Shorts are a "new"-season must buy, from high-waist to knicker/culotte look alike, the tinier they come the better. You can find all sorts, from weekend, leather, evening to tailored. I'm loving the idea of showing off some tanned/toned legs. (self made photos with bby, british Vogue).

Life Body Tattoos - Spring 2010

When Chanel applied temporary tattoos to the models at the spring/summer 2010 show, it "obliged" body make up as a must-try trend.
While Chanel tattoos represented it's most iconic accessories, Rodarte gave a further twist to the tribal aesthetic of the clothes. Malandrino set off the bare legs artfully. Gaultier, meanwhile, used gothic-script name-tag tattoos to emphasise even more the street culture that "MADE" his collection.

"The body is simply another vent for the style-savvy to express a trend and get creative," says MAC's Chantel Miller (British VOGUE), "The idea is for women to look at body make up as an accessory for an outfit". (Scroll down for photos)

REVELING IT is back - 2010 Spring Trend

When it comes to prints this season is happening big time. You'll be mixing and matching head to toe and we're not talking just traditional floral (though Anna Sui, Tory Burch and Etro did plenty of pretty ones) but lots of digital and futuristic designs were engineered for maximum impact. The Come Back...with a "difference"!

Though this was taken in 1998-9 it seams the look is coming back....pointy hair, sharp eyebrows and intense eyes, with the difference that now it's all very futuristic. I'm sure a lot is still to come and change since the movie AVATAR came out. Will that be our new fashion statement?

Balenciaga - RTW Spring 2010

There is clearly to many cocktail dresses out there for Nicola Ghesquiere - "I want to do some thing urban, no more history for the moment" he said (got this from style.com). The collection is about "Street Athleticism" - hoodies, skinny patchworked jeans, complex tanks and sporty kilts. Every silhouette, each garment, every extraordinary opened toed boot you are looking at is not you generics but a futuristic technique and art craftmanship....which defines as unique!!

Alexander McQueen - RTW Spring 2010

Each dress was a work of computer-generated art blended with McQueen's couture-based signature cut. The colors, first green and brown, moving to aqua and blue. McQueen's message? The collection is essentially about The Short Dress, sea-reptile prints worked in to nipped-waist, belled-skirt silhouette. Did he get inspired by Lady Gaga?! What a work of art!!

Balmain Spring 2010

Christophe Decarnin, the man is sensational, his models are HOT, his glittery highly padded shoulders rest the success of the whole of the mass market as it currently stands. The show was all about camouflage to sequined camouflage to patchwork goldsequined camouflage. Amazing!!

YSL Top Secret

YSL reveals its 1st "Top Secret": an exceptionally clever skincare product inspired from the beauty tips of professionals. Put it over your face to quickly chase away signs of fatigue, minimize pores, smooth the skin's texture and visibly restore the luminosity of the complexion.
Wash your face, put on your daily moisturise and then apply Top Secret before putting on make up. It's sensational to the skin and your make up will look so smooth, amazing.

p.s. it can be used with out applying make up too.

Shu Uemura - skin Purifier

High Performance balancing cleansing oil advanced formula.
Ladies you must try this make up remover/face wash. It's really amazing. Leaves your skin really purified, use before bedtime and in the morning before applying make up.

Enjoy!!
